Activities Programme

Everyone deserves the chance to enjoy their day, stay active, and feel part of a vibrant community, regardless of their needs or abilities. Our activities programme is designed to be inclusive, meaningful and uplifting, supporting both physical and emotional wellbeing. Whether it’s a quiet moment in the garden or a lively dance session, our goal is to help every resident feel involved, valued and connected.

Our Activities Programme

There’s something for everyone in our weekly activities calendar, from group fitness to music, arts and quiet social groups. We offer a mix of structured therapy-led activities and informal social events, each adapted to suit the abilities, interests and energy levels of our residents. Popular options include sensory sessions, coffee mornings, dance groups, cinema afternoons, and themed meals that celebrate food from around the world.

We’re proud to have strong community links that add richness and variety to our programme. Residents can join groups like the Ginger Bread Group for intergenerational activities, take part in outings to local parks and shopping centres, or enjoy visits from entertainers and volunteers. We also have our own in-house facilities including a gym area, therapy rooms, and outdoor spaces that support both group and individual activities in a safe, accessible way.

For our residents who aren’t as creatively inclined, a lot of our classes have quite a lot of direction. This means that our classes usually begin with a clear goal in mind, whether that’s creating a mosaic or learning a new skill.

Why Magic Moments Matter

Engaging in purposeful activity supports both mind and body, especially for people living with neurological conditions. It helps build confidence, encourages independence and creates opportunities for connection, whether that’s through shared laughter, quiet reflection or small achievements that mean a great deal. For those on a rehabilitation journey, activities are often part of wider therapy goals, helping to build daily living skills in a natural and enjoyable setting.

We take a personalised approach to activity planning, getting to know each resident’s background, interests and what brings them joy. Whether someone prefers a lively group or one-to-one time with a carer, we’re here to support them in a way that feels right.
